“This ‘introspective’, has formed and curated itself via an ‘old making life’ and a ‘new making life’. This ‘new making life’ has rather more visceral and elemental pleasures. The elements and geography that are so much part of being further ‘south’ are obvious in the workings I believe. Then there is chronology. I had a box that was filled with works from a past. These were shown in the Untied States a good number of years ago. I thought – why not let these be an entrance way from the past to the present? At Chambers 241 it seemed natural to lead an audience from the doorway down the gallery space, through the past and into the present. Thus Nemerosa, in its baroque arabesques, and translated as ‘Daughter of wind’ (etching / aquatint’, 1967) gets to meet For whom the wind blows (aquatints from 2013) and the digital Clothesline Diaries (2013 – 2014). Introspective  –a time and space based exhibit so evolved”
