Blossom / Tara Douglas

Tara Douglas is a Christchurch-based artist whose work is influenced by cute culture experienced while living in Japan.

Blossom is a sculptural paper work made entirely by hand. Each blossom has been cut, folded and glued individually, to create an immersive environment.

Douglas is currently completing her Master of Fine Art at the University Of Canterbury School Of Fine Arts.

In 2013 Douglas was a finalist in he inaugural exhibition for the Parkin Drawing prize.
